My WHY:

These are a few reasons why boudoir and portrait photography are SO important to me

Working through my trauma of my own sexual assaults, emotional abuse and body issues that stem from my all of the above I am constantly learning how to work through these daily and in a very vulnerable and honest way.

After years of constantly watching people become defeated by feeling like they were never good enough I decided to DO something about it.

I wanted to be a part of the change and help humans feel valid and accepted instead of adding to the constant myth that you’re only “accepted” if you’re this size, this shape or are this weight or whatever other stipulations they tend to throw at humans. I said screw that and work with individuals on body acceptance, and make them feel sexy as hell while doing it!

That’s why portrait and boudoir photography are my specialty. Capturing humans just as they are, being with them every step of the way and not making them feel accepted is the whole reason why diving into boudoir and portrait photography is my absolute passion in life.

Lastly,

The most important thing I want you to know about me is that you are safe here and deserving of liking yourself. Your body is worth being photographed and you are VALID. Life is short, so take that chance. Trust the process with me and let’s DO THIS.

What exactly is boudoir?

Boudoir is a couple of things but the main goal of any session is to have photos to look back at that are a constant reminder of LIVING LIFE, and looking good while doing it! I offer intimate portrait sessions for couples & individuals. These sessions help you embrace your heart and soul through photos, you get to see what the rest of us love about you, but you may have temporarily forgotten. Boudoir is letting go of the stigma that you can’t love the body you’re in, at whatever stage of life you’re at. And if you’re looking for a photographer they should never push you past your level of comfort, if you’re not wanting

Why Should you be my photographer?

BECAUSE I’M AWESOME! I mean to be honest I’m here, I’m ready to go, and I’m ready to be here when you are. I know that I can connect with you on a human to human level. Life gives us experiences to grow from, so why not let me just catapult you in the next stage of your badass life?

I need to lose 10 pounds before a session!

First, that’s a valid feeling to have, so let’s break it down.

The first question I’ll ask you is who told you that? Who said it was you that needed to lose weight to build that confidence? Then I’ll ask you what then? Is a magical unicorn going to come down give you a hug and all of the issues we all face towards our body go away? NOPE. But what if you decided today to fall in love with yourself just as you are. I’ll tell you right now I have worked with every body type and the ones that have the biggest successes after their sessions with me are the ones who GO FOR IT. And they decide that the self deprecating talk hasn't gotten them anywhere so far, and you should see the faces of these beautiful people after a session. They let go and fell in love with themselves all over again.

It’s scary to do things we think are out of our comfort zone, but what’s scarier is living a life NOT taking that leap and going for it.
